A great learning environment where students become their best.

We’re a great combination of people working together to bring Humboldt students excellent opportunities for learning in the classroom, on the field, and in the auditorium. Together, we create bright futures for our students and community.

What people are saying

The Humboldt Community School District (HCSD) is strategic and innovative in seeking out student opportunities to help each student grow and develop in their area of interest. HCSD works with local partners to provide opportunities to students both inside and outside the classroom. Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) is privileged to be a partner in this work by providing mental health and wellness services, classroom instruction or education, job shadowing, clinical hours, volunteer hours and any other opportunities that may come forward. HCSD works alongside our team to better understand what we do and how we can bring it to their students. By committing to this level of partnership, HCSD is giving each child the opportunity to experience how their daily schoolwork is connected to their future career aspirations. Their dedication and commitment to the advancement of each student is clearly seen through the partnership HCSD engages in daily. HCMH is honored and privileged to be a partner with HCSD as they continue to advance the education and experience for each student.

Special Olympics

Judy Oberhelman and Susan Thompson organized the first poker run and then also had a silent auction and a live auction. They raised over $12,000! These funds will be split between the polar plunge team, the Humboldt Special Olympic team, and the State Special Olympics. The Humboldt Special Olympics team will use the money for uniforms as our team is constantly growing! HUMBOLDT PRIDE

The Wildcat Way

Wildcat Way
#ALL DAY
#EVERY DAY
#WILDCAT WAY

Wildcat Way started as a way for students to increase their pride in their school, environment, and each other. We want students to share their leadership, talents, and sense of community outside of the classroom. We want our students to leave a legacy they can be proud of. Humboldt Wildcats are legacy builders and we can share our success and lift up those around us through our actions, through doing things the #wildcatway.
